following installation of multi fuel stove can smell fumes in room. how do i check for leakage?
Was the chimney swept and smoke tested before the installation?You can check any flue for leakage by sealing off the terminal or chimney pot then put a smoke bomb in the stove,shut the door and close any air ports.Do this in the dark and use a torch to check for leaks.
A flue gas analyser could be used to detect any leaks when the appliance is burning and make sure you fit a carbon monoxide detector in the room.
