Camoflauge Backpack
Does your cat have a favorite color?
I have noticed with one of my cats that she insists on sleeping on only black things - my black backpack, black sweatshirts, a big black chair. At this point I am sure it's not a coincidence - if I have a bunch of laundry laid out on the couch she will root around until she finds a black shirt and then hunker down on it. I'm not sure if it's because she's mostly black and she's going for camoflauge, or if she just prefers that color for whatever reason.
Does anyone else have cats that do this? What colors do they prefer? And what color are the cats?

camouflage - they can definitely see color, though their color vision is quite limited compared to ours and there are certain parts of the electromagnetic spectrum they can't differentiate

I could throw down 100 cat nip mice, and my cat Deb will go for the only pink one every time. The only toys she plays with fanatically are all pink. I put a pink blanket down for her a while back and she sleeps on it every night now. I have no doubt that some cats just happen to like certain colors, why tho? I have no idea
