If Walmart agreed to carry even 20% of their line in USA made goods, would that take us out of the recession?
And I mean of their non-grocery products. Just wondering cause they are the world's largest retailer.
It'll never happen-labor costs to them are much higher in the US-that's one of the biggest factors in their using foreign suppliers. That being said there's more to it than simply changing suppliers to fix something as complex and screwed up as our recession. There's speculation that 10% will simply be the new accepted standard level of unemployment as we enter a whole new era of our economy.
